Keeping It Fun

We make the most of Canberra’s wonderful public places and cultural events by including excursions and incursions in our program.

We utilise the Macarthur neighbourhood by walking to various places around our local area such as the Macarthur Park and Fadden Pines.

Excursions include places such as the Canberra National Zoo and Aquarium, the National Museum, the National Art Gallery.

Programming 

Programming and why we do it

We use the approved learning framework to guide our educational program and practice. The Early Years Learning Framework guides us in designing and implementing our curriculum, evaluating the learning outcomes for our children and reflecting on our principles and practices. Our educational program and practice align with the values of our statement of philosophy. Our program is tailored for all age groups and is based on observing children’s interests, strengths, capabilities, developmental milestones, intentional teaching, and family inputs. Our program is also reflective of integrating children’s voices, ideas and opinions to support their participation in the program.
